We will be celebrating our 10th aniversary in the town of Skradin!
It will take place from June 24th till July 1st in Skradin, a beautifull little town on the coast, where the river Krka flows into the Adriatic sea, and just a walking distance from Krka National Park famous for its waterfalls!
This is all you need to have a very good Acro-experience, for beginners to very advanced.
We’ll make it worth your while!!
The venue we booked is well equipped with all we need!
We will offer three meals per day, two cold and and a cooked dinner.
Sleeping is included and will be organized in two hostels, one a part of the venue, and the other 400m away.
We will be training in two well equipped judo halls (1000m²) with exciting teachers
and hopefully all together we can make it our dream acro week!

The Venue
The old name of the town was Scradona and this name is now used by the sporting-venue we are in.
The Cro Combat Centar is a modern, professional sports venue with top of the line, first class training equipment for combat sports.
Situated by the Krka National Park in beautiful surroundings and unified with nature, it offers unique potential for training.
We have oganized a free day excursion to the National Park where we all can make acro under the waterfalls,
and on the 30th of June we will have a big Gala show for all the citizens of Skradin where you are wellcome to perform your acts!
Everything we need is in the same building, a gym, a kitchen, dormatory and a relaxation area.
The food will be mainly vegetarian, but meat may be served.
Since this is an Acrobat for Acrobats festival we may ask you too to do some chores like cleaning or washing up.
Travelling
Skradin is a beautifull little town on the coast, where the river Krka flows into the Adriatic sea, and just a walking distance from Krka National Park famous for its waterfalls!
It is situated about half-way between the bigger cities of Zadar and Split.
Both Zadar and Split have airports and are in use by several low-cost air-carriers like Ryanair, Croatia Airlines, Eurowings and Easyjet. From Zadar the Bus (Bustickets online ) takes about an hour and costs about 10€
From Split (HR) the Bus (Bustickets online ) takes about an hour and 15 minutes and costs about 10€
There are longdistance busservices like flixbus that can get you to Zadar or Split for a good price, check their site for details.

For the past few seasons Triko’s performers have been working on theatre clown shows with Lee Delong. She has led many master classes and directed five shows in the style of theatre clown with Triko: Peanuts (2011), Nightingale (2012), Two and a half sisters (2012), Night of the living clowns (2013) and Feydeau…re..mi… (2014).
Our mission is to enhance the Croatian culture with clown theatre, not only by producing shows in such a style, but also through workshops and master classes for professional performers, actors, dancers and singers.
We have promoted Croatian theatre clown scene in Croatia and abroad with performances of our shows on numerous festivals.
In 2014 we have launched a project called CIRCUS PLATFORM, a unique opportunity for performers and artist to learn this style of theatre and to be able to perform it before audiences because a clown doesn’t exist without his audience!
Last year, the project ended with a big clown cabaret FEYDEAU…RE…MI… inspired by the Feydeau’s farces. The show was selected to the main programme of the Croatian Independent Theatre Festival FEN and was played in Opatija in April.
This year’s project started in March with clown training led by Lee Delong, and continues throughout the year. It will be finished with a BUFFON workshop in October.

We are proud to say that our troop was the first Croatian troop to introduce aerial acrobatic skills to Croatia and wider. Beck then, we didn’t have any teachers here in Croatia so we had to seek tuition abroad.
Still, we successfully faced all the challenges and became a non formal school with dozens of participants in the last decade and a half. We have brought up not only good acrobats but also good teachers.
Aerial acrobatics is something common now, but still interesting and alluring!
At the moment, we have three groups and around 40 participant, aged 8 to 50. It is never too early or too late for circus!
In 2008 we organized 1st International Acrobatic Convention on the island of Korčula that was attended by more than 100 acrobats from all around the world. The convention is taking place every year in a different country. This year it will be Finland, and our acrobats will attend and give workshops.
We are also cooperating closely with American aerialist Sarah Bebe Holmes, the founder of American new circus troop Paper Doll Militia. We have met Sarah on EAAC (Edinbourgh Aerial Acrobatic Convention), another convention we visit on regular basis, and we organise master classes with her annually. Sarah is giving aerial acrobatic workshops all around the world and it is our pleasure to have her as our tutor and mentor!

Circus pedagogy has been in the interest of TRIKO CIRKUS TEATAR ever since it started its activity. We have brought circus closer to people that didn’t have access to it and thought it was something reserved for ‘circus’ people. Our goal is dissemination of circus skills to all that have interest in it, to children, adults and elderly.
In 2015 we are organizing a lot of intensive workshops and all year workshops of acrobatic and juggling skills, along with open circus training.
And as Boris Radostev from Radostev Centre of Circus Art said, the aim is «to make unusual usual, usual easy, and easy beautiful!
